General Election Results Tallied

PASADENA - Republican businessman Ken Legler narrowly defeated Democrat mortgage broker Joel Redmond in the race for the House District 144 seat, formerly held by Robert Talton. Legler received 19,954 votes (51.2 percent) to Redmond’s 19,046 (48.8 percent). Legler defeated South Belt resident and Pasadena Independent School District Board of Trustees member Fred Roberts in the Republican primary last March.
